How can you not fall in love with this cover! It is one of those that makes your want to just grab it and dig into because you can tell this will be one of passion, suspense, and who knows what else. I know thats what I thought about it as soon as I saw it! The author has out done herself in my opinion with this amazing story. As soon as I started to read it I was enthralled into the world of both main characters (Dorie and Logan). I could feel the hurt and struggle that Dorie had to go through to keep her secret safe especially after all the years the man all of a sudden drops into her life again. Logan has built himself up from what he was 16 years ago and now is asked for his services by his first love’s dad to find out who is trying to ruin the company. Has the love flame burnt out or will these two come back to rekindle and make up for those lost years. When lives are put at stake what will it take for all truths to come out…The author will have you on the edge of your seat and even though i loved to hate a couple characters they shone through at the end with the twists and turns the author throws at you. The flow of the plot is flaweless and well thought out. Check this book out next time you want a little suspense in your romance you will be happy you did.Product details

This is the first of the "Redemption Series". That being said it is also a second chance love stories. Doriana and Logan have a past and possibly a future if they would only open up to each other. Secrets can kill any relationship. But both have a chance to redeem themselves. This is a suspence and HEA rolled into one story. I enjoyed the journey and plan on getting the next 2 books by Cara Marsi in the near future.
Really enjoyed the book. Tanner had his work cut out for him. Doriana his past sweetheart, love of his life is the VP of callahan's construction and he's nervous as he'll to see her after 16 yeArs. Can they get over the past move on or will she finally have to let her son know his father is back. Really enjoyable boo and
Would have been a 5 but had to skip over large parts because of explicit sex. Another writer needs to learn to just stick to story.

Drawn out too long. Found myself drifting off occasionally. I like lost love and reunions but I felt the double life thing was a little cliche and then forgiveness always comes so quickly. Logan's secret reason for leaving was too tame for the build up it was given.
This was a really good concept & story that got bogged down in ... I don't even know what. A lot of the story was spent w/ Dorie & Logan hiding things from each other, and while I could understand some of each of their reasoning, it didn't make for a pleasant read. I skipped around a lot because pieces were annoying me. So, this was good but not great, and will not be a re-read for me. If you like a lot of angsty dithering w/ pieces of sweetness, tho, you should check it out because it might be a better read for you. )
Romance is the name of the game in this book. This book delivers what we all want more romance and excitement in our life. Overall i am very well pleased with this book and the excitement it has brought me. This book had me unwilling to put it down until I turned the last page. Would I recommend this book to other people? Yes I would including friends .I absolutely think this is great book.
